Tommy & Bucky: WHAT THE HOWL ARE YOU DOIN’ HERE?! YOU TELL ME! NO, I ASKED YOU FIRST! The two wolves were so focused on the inviting cabin with the promise of hearty warm meals, that neither their sensitive ears nor noses had took notice of each other’s presence.Īfter the two had ceased their surprised gawking, with deep snarls and growls, the wolves stormed to one another other with clenched paws shoving nose to nose. Tommy swerved around and his eyebrows instantly shot up… The peeking, brown wolf behind the second apple tree was just as shocked when he realized he had idly replied to his brother. He began to take a step from the apple tree’s wide trunk his claws shearing the thin bark from much anticipation. With a brief pause, Tommy snickered to himself. Tommy: Mmm… and by the smells comin’ from that house, I’d say there might be more food in there than even my belly can stomach… He licked his fangs and swallowed from the tantalizing aromas. Tommy: Hrmm… Girly’s cookin’ is as fast as that snarky tongue of ‘ers. …Because dinner and dessert were already prepared. Tommy spied the sweet-scented pies cooling on the open windowsills and sniffed eagerly. It was not the fact that it had more than one chimney, but from all those delectable scents coming from those chimneys. Something about the wooden dwelling was quite interesting. Heh-heh.Īs if it was not obvious, the blue wolf was a very fast learner.įrom afar, he viewed the nicely sized cabin from behind one of the three apple trees that grew there. Tommy: (Thinking) Bucky ain’t the only woods-wolf with shortcuts around here. Tommy snickered smugly at the speed of his trailing. Soon as they were out of sight and hearing range, the clever wolf made his way to the log-house in only twenty minutes. Just as the wolf had planned he had crouched under the high grass and reeds, peering at his departing brothers. Lurking in the forest, Tommy remembered the way to the woman’s cabin precisely.
